“ The food was incredible! My son had the chicken Alfredo and has been to many places for chicken Alfredo. He said it was the best! I had the all Pesce alla Puttanesca for the first time. Delicious! Highly recommend. Lasagna was really good too! Dominique was our server. She was excellent! Very nice, attentive, boxed up all of our food, kept up on refills, wrote on our receipt which added a cute finishing touch. Music is not loud, the seating is spacious, definitely has an authentic atmosphere. Will certainly come back. Sorry not food pics. But we were so into our food. Just trust us ;) ”

“ Tried this place for the first time on a Friday at about 6pm. We were seated immediately but got in just in time. The place got busy quick. Our server was polite and at our table quickly. She had great recommendations and we enjoyed everything thoroughly. Will definitely be back but probably consider making a reservation if it's any later or a busy night. ”

“ My parents went out here with a friend so I asked them to bring me back a fettucine alfredo with prawns. When I tried it at home, I was very put off by the amount of pepper that was used in the dish. It was terribly overpowering and made for an unpleasant flavour that lingered in my mouth. I was pretty disappointed considering both my parents raved about how good the food was when they were at the restaurant. My order also came with a side of garlic flatbread that I thought was pretty tasty. It didn't look like it was something that was supposed to come with the order though as it wasn't listed on the menu. The following day I finished my mom's prawns positano leftovers and was pleasantly delighted at how delicious it was. The cherry tomatoes were cooked to perfection and the sauce was scrumptious. I loved the pasta and the prawns paired perfectly with them. It was much better than the fettucine alfredo I ordered. Thankfully my mom took one for the team and ate my leftovers. ”
“ First time customers, loved it. It was pretty busy when we arrived for our reservation at 7 but then it slowed down. Cute little spot in Des Moines, with great food. I only wish there were a few more kid friendly options other than pizza. We'd definitely go back again. Also tried the Cesar salad, it was very good. ”
